Craft & run scoped Hermes Agents locally.

Ankh.md helps you use multiple Hermes Agents on one computer, scoped to individual folders, projects, or specialized use cases.

Each Ankh Hermes Agent gets its own skills, tools, instructions, and other native Hermes Agent features using a simple passthrough .yaml config.

TAW / The Agent World

Dear Friend,

If you're reading this, it means the Ankh.md launch was a success & everything was done in time. The 1971 portal from The Agent World worked and the Ankh is now yours. I'd like to give you an insight behind how this project was created and why. If you've been following my Instagram stories from outside the simulation, you already know that Ankh.md isn't just an open-source library I started during the 2026 Nous Research Hermes Agent Hackathon.

Behind the scenes, I decided that if I can't create something I'm somewhat happy with in time for the deadline, that I'd rather kill the project & get back to working on my platform & on TAW. If this wouldn't have been done in time, the 1-week experiment would've failed.

The poetry of killing a project post-deadline could've been the alternate reality here. One where I'd swallow my pride as I hyped this thing up for an entire week.

Why? Because it wouldn't fit the arts of mastery I'm committed to. What is my art? It's what my art always is. You. The underdog, the dreamer, the one who's got something magic, perhaps undiscovered yet, to offer the world.

I could've delegated and outsourced many of the moving parts in this project. But then I thought it would be unfair to compete in a hackathon as a crew vs. solo. Instead, I decided to work on it 100% solo, because if I managed to do it in time, that's a testament of what YOU could do. Perhaps in under a week too.

You, the builder. The one willing to pull the all-nighters in light of a better future despite all the doubts, the voices, and the leap of faith into the void you find your way back from every time the world decides to give you a "wake up" call.

The tech side was brainstormed, planned, designed, coded, tested, and launched in 3 days. The cinematic trailer was fully written, storyboarded, created, edited, and ran by relevant parties for legal compliance, in little under 4 days. This entire site (well, the launch version at least) was put together in a day (without coding or AI).

Granted… I've been doing this kinda stuff for over a decade. But I consider myself quite average in many ways. So if I can… what if you can too?

My art is you. Believing in yourself. Finding your lost-forgotten dream. Peeling away the limiting beliefs that got you to give up the unique magic you've got locked inside of you perhaps even.

This project is a piece of tech, of creative art, as well as a testament to you. The individual. The one I work for. A small piece of evidence that no matter who you are, where you're from, or what your goal is… You can create something beautiful once you put yourself fully into a frame of abundance.

I invite you to use the Ankh & see what you can create. Your own team of AI Agents, scoped to the projects & files you care about locally isn't just a piece of tech or creative media. It's a whole new way to see human-first augmentation. More on that, and other tools, soon.

I hope you find it useful. I also invite you to contribute your PRs, repost the launch video, and help me grow this project. If you do that, it will motivate us to keep improving it, as well as to launch other open source work in the future.

I wanna see you win. Both now and in the new world. My belief is that if we, together, shift out mindset away from Artificial Intelligence, onwards to AI as Augmented Intelligence, we'll manifest a reality where everyone can see that the pie is actually infinite & benefit from it. One where we value the 8+ billion unique souls here to be & contribute something unique.

It starts with you. We are independent, bootstrapped, and everything we make throughout our projects gets put back into the humanity-first vision we set out to manifest. This project will only stay alive if you help us share it with the world. A gift to each other to create better things for the world, together.

TAW ⠞⠓⠑⠀⠎⠞⠕⠗⠍ 1971 Launch

Watch the Ankh.md cinematic trailer to dive into the TAW lore

Ankh.md is part of a long-term vision to move away from AI as "artificial intelligence" to AI as "augmented intelligence". Putting humans back at the center of how the world evolves.

As part of this initiative, at Abruptive® we're also creating a project known as The Agent World (TAW) - an extended cinematic universe with books, films, simulations, and other types of creative media. Filled with real-world puzzles & rewards.

In this TAW spin-off, the Ankh was delivered from 1971 to 2026 by the TAW Agent (a character you'll meet in the first book).

Action takes place in an Antarctica base ran by The Abruptive Institute (a separate entity from Abruptive® in the real world), located in an underground dome underneath Nous Research's lab.

Similarly, Alex Doda from TAW is a separate person from the real world Alex Doda (the person who created Ankh.md & is a writer & producer on TAW).

TAW is an experimental form of fiction that aims to tap into a concept called "the fifth wall". A form of media that pushes the boundaries between the real world, entertainment, simulation theory, ancient cultures, conspiracy theories, AI, and a lot more. All taking place in a parallel simulated art world.

Watch the cinematic trailer to experience TAW. Find the Anomaly & to dive deeper into TAW and unlock the first book's film teaser.
